For this project of making spoons, we were asked to intentionally ignore the functions of the object and concentrate on the beauty of the form. I was inspired by nature, especially the shapes of pitcher plants. I kept some features like the handle and the hollow to resemble an actual spoon, but I really focused on the organic lines of the plants. Then I created graphic images to showcase the form and lines of the spoon.
